Metallica guitarists James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett will play the American national anthem tonight at Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Hockey Final. The teams competing are the San Jose Sharks and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Metallica released the following statement on Facebook:
“Our congratulations to the San Jose Sharks for winning the Western Conference and reaching the Stanley Cup Final for the first time in their 25-year history. In our tradition of supporting our home teams, James and Kirk will be on the ice to play the national anthem.”.
