The banner became a way for the population to unite their forces
On Saturday, October 28th, Metallica performed at the Manchester Arena, the same venue where the terrorist attack took place during a concert by pop singer Ariana Grande.
During the performance, the band surprised the audience by playing Oasis' "Don't Look Back In Anger." Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo started the instrumental part of the song, and the audience joined in a chorus.
The song became an anthem for the English people of Manchester after the event.
