Metallica pays homage to Black Sabbath by playing “War Pigs” in Birmingham

The audience sang along with the band

Metallica is currently in Europe on their WorldWired tour promoting their latest album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct.

Last Monday, October 30th, the hometown of Black Sabbath was surprised when Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo used their solo to play "War Pigs" by the English band.

This tribute was not the first by the band. In Manchester, also in England, Metallica played Oasis' "Don't Look Back In Anger" in support of the victims of the terrorist attack that occurred during a concert by pop singer Ariana Grande.
