The third game of the NBA Finals is between the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.
Today, the 5th, is the third game of the NBA Finals. This edition is already historic because it features, for the first time in history, the Canadian team Toronto Raptors in this phase. Another reason to celebrate is that the game against the Golden State Warriors will include a guest appearance by members of Metallica .
James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett will play a version of the US national anthem on guitar before the game begins.
The Warriors are from the Bay Area, just like Metallica. The team plays in Oakland, while the band is from San Francisco.
On their official website, Metallica posted the following announcement:
