Metallica agrees , having announced that their BLACKENED will get a version inspired by their latest album S&M2 .
"Lot 106" was produced to the sound of the playlist (which you can check out below) of the performances held in San Francisco, featured on the album. "The first S&M in 1999 were a fundamental part of Metallica's evolution. We knew we had to mark their 20th anniversary on an even bigger scale, but without sacrificing the intimacy of those shows," says guitarist Kirk Hammett .
"The response has been incredible, for the shows and the album, and we're very happy to bring the same S&M2 to BLACKENED ," he concludes.
