The event honoring Alice In Chains , organized by the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle, which awarded the band the 2020 Founders , took place yesterday, the 1st, and featured big names in music sharing their reinterpretations of the band's classics.
Names like Metallica , Korn , Corey Taylor , Mastodon , Billy Corgan, Duff McKagan, Dave Navarro, Taylor Hawkins, Lily Cornell Silver, Ann Wilson, and Nancy Wilson were part of this very special lineup, and now you can check out the event and performances in their entirety.
“It’s truly special to receive the 2020 Founders Award from the Museum of Pop Culture in our hometown of Seattle,” said Jerry Cantrell before the event. “It’s also an honor to be joined by so many of our friends, colleagues, and heroes to play some AIC music. Music has the power to unite, heal, and inspire. It’s all ours. Let’s continue to create and celebrate what feeds the soul. Rawk on!”
