The band selected ten schools to each receive $100,000

Metallica , through its All Within My Hands ( approximately R$4 million) to ten American public service technical schools, known as "community colleges".

During their WorldWired in the United States, the band selected ten schools to receive $100,000 each – approximately 400,000 reais.

Speaking about the donation, the foundation's executive director, Edward Frank, explained that although All Within My Hands is on combating hunger and providing emergency community services, they are looking to expand their mission.

“The goal of the Metallica Scholars Initiative is to improve employment opportunities for students in technical schools,” he said. “The foundation and the band are excited about the proposals we’ve received from these schools and are thrilled to do our part to help educate students so they have the skills and abilities needed to find good jobs.”

Metallica has always been involved in charitable actions that support underprivileged communities. Recently, the group donated $100,000 to help the victims of the devastation in California caused by the wildfires.
