On Saturday night, the 24th, Metallica was the main attraction closing the Global Citizen Fest . The charity event, which aims to combat poverty, lasted 10 hours and featured an extensive list of artists, activists, and philanthropists.
Closing the night, Metallica presented an eight-song set, beginning with “Creeping Death” and ending with the hit “Master of Puppets,” which went viral on social media after appearing in Stranger Things . The band also performed “Nothing Else Matters” with Mickey Guyton , but this doesn't seem to appear in the event recording.
In addition to rock veterans, other names that performed included Måneskin , Mickey Guyton himself, and pop stars Mariah Carey , Rosalía , Charlie Puth , and the Jonas Brothers .
