Metallica seems to be having a bit of a Transformers , with bulldozers dancing to the sound of "Nothing Else Matters" in Canada , and now the band has the classic "Enter Sandman" as the soundtrack for a new Ford commercial.
This is the launch of the 2021 F-150 Raptor, a sporty pickup truck released yesterday, the 3rd, and it appears in the production showing its power in a desert to the sound of the track.
“When we thought about which song would best represent the new Raptor in all its glory of traversing dunes and racing through the desert, one stood out: 'Enter Sandman',” reveals Ford's marketing director, Mark Truby , who explains that the team members are Raptor fans, which is why they were able to get permission to use the song, something rarely granted for commercial purposes.
