Last weekend was marked by the now legendary first edition of the Power Trip , which brought together giants of hard rock and heavy metal for three days of great music.

Iron Maiden , Guns N' Roses , AC/DC , Judas Priest , Metallica , and Tool performed between Friday and Sunday in an event that will surely be etched in the memories of heavy metal fans for years to come.

But it wasn't just the fans who enjoyed the impressive lineup. Metallica members James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett were filmed by internet users enjoying the Judas Priest show, which is openly one of the band's biggest influences. Metallica wasn't scheduled to perform until the following day, but the musicians made a point of arriving a day early to catch the set of one of their favorite bands.

Metallica's official Instagram page posted a photo of the duo enjoying the show directly from the pit, while an internet user shared a video of James Hetfield having fun and playing an imaginary guitar (via Loudersound ).
