The organization received calls from fans
Metallica announced that all ticket sales from their final show in Toronto will be donated to the Daily Bread organization, which provides food for underprivileged children.
The show cost $25 for fan club members, $100 for non-members, and all attendees brought non-perishable food items for donation.
Daily Bread reported that after the announcement that Metallica would donate the money raised to the charity, they received numerous calls from fans requesting tickets. A spokesperson for the organization said: “One person called asking for two tickets for $1,000. It’s great that people think we’re connected to Metallica. But we’re not. We’re just beneficiaries of their generous donation .
