Metallica its sorrow on social media regarding the severe wildfires currently raging in Australia.
“We are absolutely stunned by the news of the fires sweeping across Australia,” a statement released by the band said. “The impact of the devastation on all residents, animals, the environment and the incredible land of Australia is truly heartbreaking.”.
The band took the opportunity to announce a donation of 750,000 Australian dollars, approximately R$2 million. The amount, donated by the All With My Hands foundation , will be used to support relief efforts in the regions most affected by the fires.
