Metallica, Disturbed and more join suicide prevention initiative

Artists will tell their own stories

Several names in music have joined the "I'm Listening" campaign, a series of radio programs and a two-hour special focused on raising awareness of mental health and suicide prevention.

Participating artists will converse and share their own stories as a way to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. Confirmed personalities so far include Metallica, David Draiman of Disturbed, Krist Novoselic, William DuVall, Logic, Halsey, among others.

The program will take place on Sunday, September 10th, at 11:00 AM Brasília time and can be heard on the official website of the I'm Listening initiative.
