Metallica partners with Vans to release sneakers inspired by 'The Black Album'.

The footwear will be sold in a limited edition starting next week.

Metallica has announced another release to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Black Album . After an album with Miley Cyrus, Elton John and 51 other artists, and a commemorative book , the band has partnered with Vans for a special sneaker.

Designed by Pushead St. Anger cover and other illustrations throughout the band's career, the limited edition will be sold in Sk8-Hi models for US$85 (approximately R$441 at the current exchange rate) and classic Slip-On models for US$75 (R$389.90).

The sneakers will not be sold in Brazil, as they will be available exclusively through Vans Family, a brand subscription program with special benefits for members, or on the official Metallica website starting July 26th.
