Metallica performed “Procreation Of The Wicked” by Celtic Frost
Robert Trujillo and Kirk Hammett covered Celtic Frost's "Procreation Of The Wicked" during a Metallica concert in Geneva, Switzerland.
The song was a tribute to Martin Ain, who was the bassist for Celtic Frost and Hellhammer in the 1980s. He died in 2017 from a heart attack.
Metallica has been touring Europe since February and has eight more dates scheduled. Recently, the band announced details of their North American tour in support of their latest album, Hardwired… To Self-Destruct . The world tour for this album was considered the 5th highest-grossing tour of 2017, with 1.5 million tickets sold and $153 million earned, approximately R$515 million.
