Metallica 's arrival in Brazil in 2022 is more than confirmed! The band announced the new dates for their Latin American tour this Monday, the 25th, for May of next year, with Ego Kill Talent and Greta Van Fleet confirmed as the opening acts for each event.
With some tickets remaining in certain sections, the production company Live Nation Brazil has announced the reopening of ticket sales. It took a while, but the ticket sales pages for the Brazilian dates are back online on Eventim, with the exception of the São Paulo show, which is listed as "sold out at the moment". Tickets can be paid in up to 5 installments exclusively for Elo card customers and 3 installments for other cards. For those who have already purchased tickets for previous dates, there is no need to exchange them, as all tickets will be valid for 2022.
“We really can’t wait to finally visit South America for the first time in almost five years in April and May 2022 as we return for the six shows originally planned, including two Brazilian cities we’ve never played: Belo Horizonte and Curitiba,” the band wrote on their official website.
