Metallica released a behind-the-scenes video of the recording of the music video for "Screaming Suicide," a single from their new album 72 Seasons release on April 14th.
In the video, we see James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo preparing for the filming of the music video directed by Tim Saccenti . Then, they come together to record the piece.
Tim Saccenti appears in the video talking to drummer Lars: “For this video, we want to be a little different from the last one. It’s a little less like a stadium projection. A little more internal. Playing for yourself.”
“Screaming Suicide” succeeded “Lux Æterna” as the single from the new album. 72 Seasons was produced by Greg Fidelman , Hetfield, and Ulrich and will follow Hardwired… To Self Destruct (2016). Check out the behind-the-scenes footage at the end of this article, followed by the official music video.
