In addition to Cliff Burton, Dave Mustaine was also present at the performance.

March 5, 1983 was a great day for Metallica . The band played their first show with bassist Cliff Burton . He replaced Ron McGovney , who left the band in 1982.

The show also featured guitarist Dave Mustaine , who later became the mastermind behind Megadeth . Kirk Hammett was still in Exodus at the time. Mustaine would be fired from the band a few months later, making this performance rare.
