Three years after their Lollapalooza performance, Metallica is expected to come to Brazil in April 2020
Destak Jornal reported that Metallica , the band led by James Hetfield , is expected to return to Brazil. According to reports, the group has confirmed their visit for April 2020.
In 2017, Metallica played at Lollapalooza Brazil. This time, however, they are expected to come for a solo tour, outside of festivals. The venues for the shows are already starting to be decided.
The North American leg of the Worldwired ended this month. Now, the group is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of S&M with shows alongside an orchestra.
This will be the band's 10th time in Brazil. The first was in 1989, in São Paulo and Rio. In 1993, they performed only in São Paulo. In 1999, they came to São Paulo and Porto Alegre. After that, Metallica played shows in 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017.
