The wait is over: Metallica announced today, the 15th, the release of the album and DVD Metallica and San Francisco Symphony: S&M2 and released two performances from the show.
The performances celebrating the 20th anniversary of the S&M last September in San Francisco, together with the San Francisco Symphony , will finally be available on DVD, Blu-Ray, as well as CD, vinyl, and two different box sets starting August 28th.
One of the box sets is extra special, with only 500 copies (!) and will contain the original sheet music used during the performances, autographed by the band members, as well as other items made for Metallica collectors.
