Metallica announced today the release date for the book that tells the story of the album “Master Of Puppets”. Titled 'Back To The Front', the book will be released on September 13th, with an exclusive collector's edition that will be sold from August 30th at Metallica.com and MoonriseMedia.net .
Metallica announced: “Two years in the making, we’re so excited to finally share this with you. We teamed up with Matt Taylor (author) who interviewed us and unearthed memories from way back, anecdotes, jokes and stories from the studio, the road and more .
The band released a video with Lars Ulrich presenting the work, check it out below (without subtitles). Ulrich begins by saying , “Hi everyone, guess what I have in my hand. No, it’s not this.”
