Metallica announced yesterday more details about their highly anticipated 3D film, their next release. Titled Metallica : Through The Never , the film will be released on August 9th in North America.
Lars Ulrich says the film was a great journey, and that the band's independent spirit meshed well with the film's distributor, Picture House Films. The production company has already released very successful independent films, such as The Passion of the Christ and My Big Fat Greek Wedding .
Earlier this month, Lars had revealed more details regarding the film's plot. The 3D production cost approximately 20 million dollars.
