Metallica announced on Tuesday, April 29th, the re-release of the album Load ( 1996). Load (Remastered) will be released on June 13th and is already available for pre-order .
The announcement, made on the band's social media, showcases the various editions available in different formats, including standard 180-gram double LP, CD, cassette, and digital. The material contains unreleased demos, rough mixes, videos, live recordings, and much more.

Metallica also released a new lyric video for the track "Until It Sleeps" to coincide with the announcement.
The band recently kicked off their 2025 tour with a North American show last Saturday night, April 19th, at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York. The tour features opening acts by Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies.
