The work will be released in early 2019

Metallica announced that on February 1st they will release the album Helping Hands… Live & Acoustic At The Masonic, recorded during a benefit event the band presented to help the All Within My Hands , which fights to combat hunger in various communities.

The new release will be launched on all streaming platforms and on colored vinyl in a limited edition. The announcement was made during #GivingTuesday, a day that follows Thanksgiving and encourages reflection on consumerism and highlights the importance of helping others.

Mixed by Greg Fildelman and mastered by Reuben Cohen, all proceeds from the album sales will be donated to the All Within My Hands Foundation and are already available for pre-order on the official website .

Helping Hands… Live & Acoustic At The Masonic was recorded during the event that raised $1.3 million and featured a setlist full of Metallica classics, as well as covers of Deep Purple, Nazareth, and Bob Seger.
