Metallica and Slipknot were ranked as the most-watched metal bands on YouTube this week. The YouTube Music Charts shows each band's position based on the number of plays on the platform and also separates the plays by country.

The chart is led by Roddy Rich with 45.6 million plays, and the top 10 includes names like Eminem (24.8 million), Lil' Wayne (28.8 million), and Billie Eilish (27.7 million). Looking at the top 100, we find metal.

Metallica had 29 million plays while Slipknot had 13.8 million, with the majority of fans being North Americans (3.92 million). But Brazil is not far behind and takes second place with 1.17 million plays. The group Avenged Sevenfold comes next with 13.2 million.

Rock, however, appeared in greater numbers, with Queen at 42.9 million, Guns N' Roses at 21.7 million, AC/DC at 20 million, and Nirvana at 15.8 million. See the complete list of rock and metal below.
