The longing to be surrounded by other music lovers at a big concert or festival has become an everyday feeling. And for artists, the longing to be doing what they love on stage is also present. With that in mind, Metallica Lars Ulrich shared what his dream festival would be like.

Recently, here at Wikimetal , we also had our daydreams about putting together a festival lineup, and more specifically, about a new edition of Live Aid , but for Ulrich, the lineup was only part of his vision, as the artist has in mind other vital details of a festival such as location and even the food court.

Using Metallica's 2013 Antarctic performance as the starting point for his dream, Lars, in an interview with The Guardian , chooses Easter Island to host the festival, and offers ways for fans to get to the event, via boat, plane, or even a relocation 'pod' like in Star Trek .

Regarding the menu that will keep the staff motivated and ready to enjoy the festival, the drummer emphasizes that the history and culture of the island will be a recurring theme in the food court, meaning Mediterranean and mostly vegetarian options, such as kebabs, falafels, and hummus.

And getting to the most interesting part, the lineup: AC/DC (with Bon Scott !) is the band chosen to be the festival's biggest attraction. Joining the Australians on the bill are Deep Purple , in their 1971-1973 lineup, Rage Against The Machine , to add a touch of "danger and unpredictability" to the mix, the most dangerous phase of Guns N' Roses , the British band Oasis at their peak, and even Bob Marley and the Wailers to "close your eyes and feel the unity." Quite a lineup, huh?
