With a 40-year career, Metallica has become one of the greatest metal bands of all time, with over 110 million albums sold and sold-out stadium tours around the world to this day.

Following the success of the Iron Maiden album covers Wikimetal editorial team and design staff voted on the top 10 Metallica .

Although the ranking analyzes only the cover art, once again the results align with trends among the fanbase. Master of Puppets , voted the band's best album by Wikimetal in 2013, came in first place. This rule did not apply to Kill 'Em All , beloved by the public, which fell out of the Top 5.

Albums that were criticized, such as St. Anger and Lulu , a collaboration with Lou Reed , also ended up in the last positions due to their cover art. The albums The Black Album and Ride The Lightning , in positions 6 and 7, Load and Lulu , in ninth and tenth place, had a tie in percentage, and the order was determined chronologically.
