Metallica 's self-titled 1991 album is one of the most renowned in the metal scene, and proof of this is the giant milestone of 20x platinum, with sales exceeding 20 million copies. This was confirmed on May 28th by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America).

The album, also known as The Black Album , features tracks that every metal fan recognizes, such as "Enter Sandman" and "Nothing Else Matters." These songs helped solidify the band as one of the pillars of world metal.

In addition to this achievement, the acclaimed Master Of Puppets (1986) sold over 8 million copies, achieving 8x platinum status.

Further expanding Metallica's discography, the band announced a deluxe box set of Load (1996) with 245 unreleased tracks. This version of the album is currently available for pre-order , costing $274.98 (approximately R$1563).
