The song "One" is among Metallica 's biggest hits . And the white guitar used by Kirk Hammett in the music video will be up for auction in the coming days.
So far, the highest bid has been US$26,000 – excluding the premium fee that the final buyer will have to pay to complete the transaction, equivalent to an increase of approximately US$6,000 in total.
Part of the album …And Justice for All , released in 1988, the single has a powerful music video. In addition to shots of the band's performance, the video depicts the tragic journey of a former soldier from the film Johnny Got His Gun
The beige guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity and Hammett's autograph on the body. Those interested can place a bid on the Heritage Auctions website until Friday, April 9th.
