CBS aired a report this week about Michael Hildreth, a metal fan who innovated the art of holding up signs by advertising a pizzeria while headbanging. According to the employee, the pizzeria's profits have increased by 40% since he implemented the technique.
Hildreth told her story: “I was always late for work for a month, a month and a half. My boss got a little annoyed, so he sent me out as punishment .” Hildreth then created a new way of announcing her work, holding up a sign while listening to metal and nodding her head: “I don’t like the idea of being bored while I work,” she said.
In an interview with CBS, Hildreth said her favorite bands include Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Cannibal Corpse, and Slayer. See the interview below (without subtitles):
