The Danish band Metal Cross is releasing the music video for "The Drone" exclusively on Wikimetal . The track is the first sample from the band's new album, Soul Ripper, which will be released next year.

Formed by Michael Steen Sørensen (guitar), Peter Mogensen (drums), Jon Lybæk (guitar), Ole Quist (bass) and Henrik “Faxe” (vocals) in 1983, Metal Cross had a brief career, announcing a hiatus in 1989. In 2009, the group returned to the stage and the studio for two demo tapes, which ended up being released as a self-titled double vinyl.

In 2019, Faxe left the band and was replaced by Esben Fosgerau Juhl , and since then the group has been working on a studio album. Soul Ripper is therefore a major milestone for Metal Cross, and the single "The Drone," which you can listen to below, is a sample of that.
