Police have ruled out alcohol and drug use as a possible cause of death for Mike Howe , vocalist of Metal Church , last Monday, the 26th, at the age of 55.
Information about the investigation was released by the TMZ website , which spoke with a representative from the Humboldt County Police Department. Officers received a call in Eureka, California, where the singer resided, around 10 a.m. that day to report his sudden death.
The cause of Howe's death remains unknown, but police have ruled out alcohol, drugs, or controlled substances as contributing factors.
The news of the singer's death was announced by Metal Church on social media. "It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, our friend and true heavy metal legend. Mike Howe passed away this morning at his home. We are devastated and speechless," they wrote.
