The cause of death of Mike Howe, lead singer of the band Metal Church, has been reported by international websites. According to TMZ , the singer, who was 55 years old, committed suicide, according to information from the police department.
A spokesperson for the Humboldt County Sheriff's Department in the United States told TMZ that after finding the singer's body at his home and conducting the necessary investigations, they determined that he died from asphyxiation by hanging.
Earlier this week , Metal Church confirmed the death of their bandmate, the cause of which was previously considered "mysterious."
Police also stated that alcohol and drugs were not considered factors in the singer's death , and no controlled or illicit substances were found in the house where he died.
