The Memphis May Fire song "The Old Me" is about lead singer Matty Mullins' struggle with depression and anxiety

Metalcore band Memphis May Fire will release their album Broken this Friday, November 16th. The official music video for "The Old Me," the album's first single, has just been released.

“'The Old Me' is about my struggle with anxiety and depression,” said vocalist Matty Mullins about the intensely personal song. “I feel like it’s a war between good and evil, which hijacks the person I am as it consumes me mentally.
