Three years after the release of their most recent album, Broken , Memphis May Fire breaks their hiatus and returns with the new single “Blood & Water”. The powerful and catchy song features elements of metalcore and a chorus that subtly nods to the 2000s.
In a statement, vocalist Matty Mullins said: “With everything that’s happened in the last year, it feels surreal to be releasing new music. Creating during the pandemic has come with many challenges. But looking back, I think we needed this time off the road to fall in love with songwriting again. 'Blood & Water' is just a taste of what’s to come and we couldn’t be more excited for the world to finally hear what we have.”
The band also released new merchandise items in their official store. 100% of the profits from one of the two items will go to Bridges DVC , an organization that helps women who are victims of domestic violence.
