Members of Mastodon , Tool , and Primus reunited, virtually, quarantine-style of course, to perform a cover of the song "Anthem," from Rush 's Fly By Night .
Les Claypool , bassist for Primus , Bill Kelliher , guitarist for Mastodon , Danny Carey , drummer for Tool , Claudio Sanchez , vocalist for Coheed and Cambria , and Stephen Brodsky , of Mutoid Man and Cave In , performed the cover for Gwarsenio Hall 's Two Minutes to Late Night .
Claypool is an avowed Rush fan, and was going to perform a cover of the band's 1977 album, A Farewell to Kings , on tour with Primus this year; however, those plans were postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
