Warheads on Foreheads will feature 35 remastered songs.
Last week, Megadeth prepared fans for an announcement. A video was released featuring old footage of bombings and the riff of "Take No Prisoners" in the background. What many believed would be about the band's 16th album was actually the announcement of a greatest-hits album, titled Warheads on Foreheads .
The release will take place on March 22nd, although the tracklist has not yet been revealed. Despite this, we know that the album will feature 35 remastered tracks chosen by Dave Mustaine .
Pre-orders will begin on January 25th.
The cover appears to be a reference to Dr. Strangelove from Stanley Kubrick 's Dr. Strangelove . See the artwork below:
