Megadeth fans have a unique opportunity to acquire the banjo used by Dave Mustaine on the album Super Collider , released in 2013.
The specialty store Essex Record Studios sells items acquired from the guitarist's own collection and now offers the banjo. According to LouderSound , the musical instrument features on the track "The Blackest Crow". To own this collector's item, fans will have to shell out €14,999, equivalent to more than 100,000 reais at the current exchange rate.
The banjo comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Mustaine and has the musician's autograph. “[The banjo was] used to write and record the only song Megadeth doesn't play live: 'The Blackest Crow'. It was autographed by him for our studio at Wembley Arena in London, where we brought his entire guitar collection that we bought from him. Of all the instruments in the collection, this was the one he approached first and it was clear it had special significance,” the store described.
