Megadeth releases music video filmed in São Paulo; watch "Lying in State" here.

This is the second music video the band has filmed in Brazil.

Megadeth released the music video for the track “Lying in State” from the album Dystopia (2016). Filmed in São Paulo during their visit in November 2017, the video shows the mascot Vic Rattlehead with a katana sword in a cemetery while the band plays the track.

The video was recorded and produced by a team of Brazilians who have previously worked with Megadeth.

“When we went to São Paulo in 2016, we filmed the music video for 'Conquer or Die'. We were so impressed with the director Leo Liberti that we asked him to direct the music video for 'Lying in State' as well (…) Thank you so much to Kiko Loureiro for introducing us to Leo. I loved how Vic held a sword!”

Leo's production company, Libertà Filmes, has received numerous awards over the years, including the Latin Grammy, Cannes Film Festival, and Clio Awards.
