Being an artist can involve traversing various facets of art throughout one's career, and for David Ellefson , this is becoming a reality as he announces that his first book, The Sledge Chronicles: Rock Star Hitman , will be available starting tomorrow, the 18th.
To give fans a taste of the publication, the Megadeth shared a two-page preview of the short story, and regarding the release, he shared, “I’ve always wanted to write fiction, and The Sledge Chronicles gave me the perfect road to launch the first in a series of books. I figured I could maybe start close to home with a rock 'n' roll character as the protagonist and expand explorations of the world from there.”
As Ellefeson comments, Rock Star Hitman is the first in the saga that will follow a musician who, after achieving his long-awaited fame, must enlist as an assassin for a clandestine agency. The work promises to deliver laughs, suspense, and of course, plenty of rock 'n' roll.
