Megadeth was touring with the band.
The German band Scorpions had to cancel the remainder of their North American tour due to a health problem affecting vocalist Klaus Meine .
The musician had to step away from the stage due to laryngitis and is resting as per doctor's orders.
Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, who was on tour with the Scorpions, released a statement apologizing for the cancellation and explaining that Klaus needs to rest.
“On behalf of Megadeth, I want to thank Scorpions for the incredible opportunity to tour with our heroes. To the fans, new and old, who came to see us at these wonderful shows, we are deeply grateful and hope you enjoyed them as much as we did. Of course, due to Klaus Meine, whose health is our priority, we wish him a speedy recovery and all the best. If we ever have the opportunity to share the stage with Scorpions again, we will be there!”
