Megadeth their 16th studio album, The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead!, this Friday, the 2nd .

The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead!, which you can listen to at the end of this article, was released by Tradecraft, the label of vocalist Dave Mustaine , under the Universal group.

The album is the first with drummer Dirk Verbeuren and also the first since Dystopia , from 2016. The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead! was produced by Mustaine and Chris Rakestraw , and this production took more than two years.

During the recording of the album, bassist Dave Ellefson was fired from the band following a sex scandal involving a minor . His part was then re-recorded by Steve Di Giorgio of Testament .

On the album, the group received some special guest appearances such as Ice-T on the track “Night Stalkers” and Sammy Hagar on a bonus track of a cover of his own song, “This Planet's on Fire (Burn in Hell)”. The album also features another cover, this time of Dead Kennedys' “Police Truck”.
