Following David Ellefson's foot fracture, which caused the cancellation of the end of Megadeth's European tour, the band posted a statement to their South American fans on their official Facebook page. Check it out:
Dear Megadeth fans,
Our South American tour starts in less than two weeks and we're getting very excited. As you may have heard, we were forced to miss the last 3 shows of our European tour as David Ellefson broke his foot before our show in Hungary. The band is now at home and David is receiving medical attention this week. Our South American tour, as well as the shows in Mexico, will still go ahead as planned and we are very much looking forward to seeing everyone soon.
