Drummer Nick Menza died in May 2016
former Megadeth drummer Nick Menza playing the classic "Holy Wars".
The video was filmed in March 2014 and is believed to be one of the last images of Menza in the studio. The recording was intended for the Intense Mega Drumming , featuring 10 Megadeth classics. The goal was to give tips on how to play drums better. Now, the footage will be released in an unannounced project.
Menza joined Megadeth in 1989 and remained for nine years. He became associated with the band's classic and most prolific phase.
Nick died in May 2016 after suffering a heart attack and collapsing during a concert. He died from hypertension and cardiovascular disease.
