The thrash metal giant Megadeth Dave Mustaine 's Ferrari on their X profile .
Taking advantage of the hype surrounding the news that British Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton has signed an agreement to drive for the Italian team Ferrari in 2025, the band posted:
"I heard that @Ferrari has been in the news lately… I thought I'd share Dave Mustaine's new stable pony," referring to the information that Hamilton decided to switch from Mercedes to Ferrari .
The Californian band is preparing to bring their new Crush the World Tour to Latin America in April. The tour will stop in Brazil on the 18th in São Paulo at Espaço Unimed . In addition to Brazil, they will also play in Lima, Santiago de Chile, Asunción, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Mexico City, and Monterrey. They will conclude their Latin American tour in San Salvador.
In Buenos Aires, the shows at the Moviestar Arena , which has a capacity of 15,000 people, sold out quickly. Therefore, a third date was added in the Argentinian capital. In another post on X, Megadeth praised the Argentinians for their mobilization:
"Argentine fans! We were so impressed by the love you showed us at the first two Argentine dates of the 'Crush World Tour' that we've added a third on April 16th."
Megadeth returns to Brazil after two consecutive cancellations.
After a seven-year wait and without guitarist Kiko Loureiro in the group, Brazilian fans will finally have the chance to see Megadeth again and their usual heavy performance in São Paulo on April 18th.
The band had two canceled visits to Brazil. The first was in 2019 at Rock in Rio and Rockfest in São Paulo due to health issues of vocalist and guitarist Dave Mustaine. The second was in 2022 due to scheduling conflicts, again at Rock in Rio .
