Dave Mustaine had previously expressed optimism about the release of the new Megadeth , but it seems that some unforeseen circumstances will delay the project's arrival.
According to the guitarist, the band's sixteenth album, called The Sick, The Dying And The Dead , has been postponed until the Northern Hemisphere summer, which would result in a release between June and September.
When asked by Forbes if the second leg of Megadeth's tour would be to promote the new album, Dave Mustaine denied the possibility and said that the band is facing distribution problems, which has delayed the entire process. "I believe that when the album comes out this summer, we'll be on a tour that we'll announce later, but I can't talk about it yet because I'm not sure about the dates," he revealed.
In December, Megadeth shared a snippet of the unreleased song "Life In Hell ," which is part of The Sick, The Dying And The Dead. (Revisit the video.)
