Megadeth has announced that it will release a virtual reality experience inspired by the universe of its upcoming album "Dystopia." In a statement published on the band's official Facebook page, Megadeth revealed that it will be partnering with director Blair Underwood.
The experience will launch alongside the album on January 22nd. Fans who purchase the special edition of the album will receive exclusive headphones and a code to unlock the online content. The video will feature performances of five songs from "Dystopia": Fatal Illusion , Dystopia , The Threat Is Real , Poisonous Shadows , and Post American World , played by the band in the album's dystopian reality.
The technology will be developed by Next Galaxy Corp.
