Megadeth.com , this past weekend . Scheduled to end on October 2nd, the countdown hasn't received any explanation from the band, but with recent news about the recording of their next album, it's likely that date will coincide with the release of a first single or an announcement of the new album's release.
The band also released a short teaser, which can be seen below. The new Megadeth album features, in addition to Mustaine and Ellefson, Kiko Loureiro and Chris Adler. Dave Mustaine and Toby Wright produced the album.
