Megadeth is set to return to Latin America for another tour, as Dave Mustaine during the show in Bogotá, Colombia, last Sunday, the 26th.

According to the Heavy Mextal website , there is an expectation that the band will perform at least one more series of shows in the region. During a performance in Bogotá, Dave Mustaine confirmed that these concerts in Latin America will not be the last: “We love you, we waited a long time to play for you again and we will be back. This is not over yet, there's not much time left, but it's not over yet.”

In an interview with the British magazine Kerrang!,vocalist and founder Dave Mustaine stated that the farewell tour, titled This Was Our Life, could last up to five years. "We're easily talking about another three to five years of touring. And if we're going to do this for that long, then I'll be thinking about my birthday," said Mustaine, referring to the fact that he will turn 70 in 2031.

The band kicked off their farewell tour of South America last Thursday, the 23rd, in Lima, Peru. In Brazil, their only performance will take place this Saturday, May 2nd, at Espaço Unimed in São Paulo. Tickets are already sold out.
