Sarah Churman was contacted by the band
Sarah Churman, the former hearing-impaired woman who became famous after a video of her first audition was posted on YouTube, will be the guest of honor at Megadeth's Las Vegas show. The band paid for her trip and provided tickets for Sarah and her husband to attend their first rock concert.
Churman was born deaf and heard for the first time when she was 29 years old: “My way of appreciating music was to turn the volume up as high as possible and feel the vibrations .” Regarding the invitation from Megadeth, Sarah commented: “We don’t have much money, so we don’t go to concerts very often. I’m very excited.”
According to Sarah, the band contacted her family to invite her to the show. Churman will see Megadeth and Motörhead at the Las Vegas show on the night of the 17th. Check out the famous video of Sarah's first audition in 2011 below:
